Fabmost grew from one collector’s enduring affection for objects with quality, history, personality—or simply a little delightful oddness.
I began collecting in the late 1960s, long before Fabmost had a name. What started with an eye for unusual buttons, matchbooks, and bits of ephemera became a lifelong habit of noticing the things other people might pass by.
Some pieces mark an important moment. Some recall a place that no longer exists. Others are funny, beautiful, peculiar, or irresistible. What connects them is the story they carry and the pleasure of putting them into the hands of someone who sees what I saw.
Fabmost is for every kind of collector. The inventory ranges freely across subjects and eras because curiosity has never stayed in just one department.
